Authors: Are you ready for the most awesome thing ever?
Indies Unlimited had a blog post today about Authorgraph. It allows an author to create a collection of books they are willing to autograph, and pools them into a big catalog that fans can search. When a fan requests an autograph, the author will get notification. S/he can type a note or whatever, use a typed or handwritten signature, and then send it back to the fan. The fan will get an electronic one-page file with an image of the book cover and the note and the signature.
I have my works set up, if anyone wants to give it a try. (Sorry, I can’t autograph The Bloodsuckers, because it will only work with books list on Amazon, and The Bloodsuckers isn’t available there.) You don’t have to have a copy of the book/story to request an autograph.

Coolio. Didn’t know that was possible.
I didn’t know either, until yesterday. I know some authors complain that switching to ebooks will keep them from autographing stuff. Not anymore!
It’s a great idea. Now, if they’d just expand to non-Amazon books.
